Today's highlight was my after-school lab session. I found the holy grail of my science project this afternoon. I had found the elusive micronucleus in the root tip cells of my beans. This suggests that the common household chemical i'm testing, RAID Insect Garden Killer, is capable of causing mutations in the bean plants. I still have to run more trials, but this is definitely a great sign.
