We watched a great film called "Ray" in Applied Skills today. I am now interested in getting some Ray Charles tracks. I read some more info on the film on IMDb, and found out many interesting facts about the film: Jamie Foxx actually wore eye prosthetics that actually made him blind (temporarily). I thought that Jamie Foxx portrayed Ray Charles very accurately, partly due to the fact that he actually visited Ray Charles during the shoot (Ray Charles died in 2004 while the filming was in progress). It also gave an accurate picture of what it was like back in the 1940s and 50s, because from the goofs section of the IMDb, I could only find petty anachronisms and mistakes that weren't very import (e.g. "Q" was eating the fried chicken that Ray made almost instantly after it was taken off the pan, but it wasn't possible because it would have been really hot.) I will attempt to evaluate the film once I have seen it in its entirety.
