Today we presented our skits in social studies. I thought the groups' performance were not bad, although I wasn't sure about those groups who decided to make the whole skit french actually communicated anything to us.
Then, we watched a documentary called "An Inconvenient Truth" by Al Gore. The facts he presented were astounding. His rebuttals of those people saying that global warming is cyclic and of his political opponents' criticism were not only extremely valid, but also very convincing and concise. Gore's rhetoric in the presentation was similar to David Suzuki's passionate speeches about the environment as well. I am still astounded why people are not taking action after Al Gore's amazing world tours to spread his message.
